Eastgate Corporate Center was designed as a speculative office building. Great care was taken in the site design to preserve numerous existing large fir trees on the site. The client desired an energy efficient building that would appeal to prospective tenants. The mechanical system, lighting design, and exterior envelope design were all detailed to maximize the overall efficiency of the building. The project won the “Energy Edge Competition” sponsored by the BPA for mid size office building category.
