Lighthouse for the Blind, Seattle, WA
The Lighthouse for the Blind is long standing institution that provides work for blind and deaf/blind people in a factory environment. They currently employ over 400 disabled people in their Seattle facility where they manufacture a wide range of items for such varied clients as the US Military and the Boeing Company. RMA has worked with the staff and board of directors for over 12 years on several projects to update and remodel the existing plant in Seattle. We also developed a master plan for an adjacent property that will serve as additional manufacturing space as well as provide some housing and cafeteria area for the work force.
